About Me

My name is Alaa ElSharif, a resident of Tripoli, Libya, where I work in the field of Domain name registration and Web hosting. In my spare time, among many other things, I enjoy following and writing about Professional Wrestling, which I've been a fan of since my early childhood in the United States where I was born. I guess I caught this from my father, who (according to Mom's narrative) would pin my shoulders to the bed for a count of 1-2-3 before I reached 40 days of age...! My all time favorites growing up were Bret 'Hitman' Hart, Sting, Ric Flair, and Macho man Randy Savage. We can't catch that much wrestling on local TV here, but through the magic of broadband internet I manage to keep up with everything that's wrestling. Working for a local ISP helps a lot too ;) In the past I've written a few opinion articles for the Bleacher Report, but now that it's no longer open for contributors like myself, I'm moving on to my own blog, where I'll try to discuss Professional Wrestling, MMA, and an array of other different topics as well.
